Woodland Creatures

The zipper pulls were great. My kiddo loves having original ones on her backpack. Instead of the My Little Pony ones everyone else already has. The masks and the other craft ideas in the book were also a lot of fun.

My daughter looked forward to her Kiwi Crate each month, always asking multiple times " when's my Kiwi Crate coming?!?!?" I am such a non- crafty mom with a super crafty daughter, so your crate provided us fun together time without me having to go to an awful craft store!

Both projects had plenty of hands on time. My son especially liked being able to create animals by picking and choosing their features.

I liked that this crate had some engineering to be done with the marble roll. Our girls really got into this activity once they saw what could be altered and changed about the outcome!

The kids (age 5 and 7) were able to do this by themselves and they loved doing it. My son made the two creatures exactly as they were pictured in the instructions while my 5 year old daughter got a little wacky / creative and laughed at her silly creations. I left for a 1/2 hour run and when I came back they were just finishing up and couldn't wait to show me.

The felt creatures were a favorite. My daughter is in 1st grade and hooked them to her backpack so they go to school too. She made a little white Pom Pom tail for the bunny and made the fox's tail swing to the side. She likes the activities, in the "Explore" book as well.
