Step-by-step tutorial

  • Step 1

You just need a kid sized apron, optional stencils (buy or make your own), and we used these cool oil pastels that allow you to iron them to set them into the fabric. I found these to be less messy than fabric paint and still very vibrant.

  • Step 2

We taped our stencil in place so it wouldn't move around while we colored it in. We moved the stencils around the apron and colored in a globe, some animals, and of course personalized it!

  • Final result!

When you're done, just iron the apron to set the design in place. And voila - a real chef with his own custom apron. We're excited to bake cookies together each wearing our own apron!
