Rainbow Hair Clip

My daughter would do just about anything to get those plastic color strands into her hair. I'm guessing she would choose the hot pink variation! To hold her over for another couple years we made a rainbow hair clip with a softer look to it. A great way to craft together and accessorize for St. Patrick's Day!

Step-by-step tutorial

Step 1
To make our rainbow hair clip we started by cutting a ribbon in each rainbow color to the length of Emma's hair. She loved doing this especially seeing how long her hair was in ribbon!

Final result!
We used the hot glue gun (adult step) to attach the ribbon on top of a snap style hair clip. Next we cut a little shamrock from felt to go right on top. Our clip came out so adorable! Emma wears it much more often than St. Patrick's Day!
