Step-by-step tutorial

  • Step 1

    The idea of eyeball art is for children to use their imaginations when given a sheet of paper with only an eye on it. They draw around the eye to create an animal, person, or any sort of creature they can dream up.

  • Step 2

    To start, I draw different eyes in different spots of blank sheets of paper. This is great to take to restaurants or in cars. It's much more exciting than the average coloring activity.

  • Step 3

    My five-year-old always draws the most creative creatures and really gets involved in each piece of art.
