Eyeball Art

This is a simple way to get little ones thinking creatively, and a quick and easy activity that can be done anywhere! I love seeing what my kids come up with.

Step-by-step tutorial

  • Step 1

The idea of eyeball art is for children to use their imaginations when given a sheet of paper with only an eye on it. They draw around the eye to create an animal, person, or any sort of creature they can dream up.

  • Step 2

To start, I draw different eyes in different spots of blank sheets of paper. This is great to take to restaurants or in cars. It's much more exciting than the average coloring activity.

  • Step 3

My five-year-old always draws the most creative creatures and really gets involved in each piece of art.
