Cotton Bunny

Is there anything cuter than a bunny?! Okay, adorable five-year-old best friends forever are pretty cute too! My daughter and her bestie made some darling bunnies to welcome the ever so far away spring. They were a lot of fun for the girls to make and they even used them like dolls. I love that!

Step-by-step tutorial

  • Step 1

I got the materials all set for the girls to get to work. I cut the black pipe cleaner into small pieces to become whiskers and cut white and pink felt for the ears.

  • Step 2

The girls got busy covering the entire paper roll with cotton. They had a lot of silly laughs when the cotton started sticking to them! Needless to say, we had a lot of glue, everywhere!

  • Step 3

Once the bunny was nice and fluffy it was time for the fun details. The girls added the ears to the inside of the paper roll and used buttons for the eyes and nose. The pipe cleaner whiskers were the final touch.
