We found that planning ahead a little and drawing the shape of the ornament you want on the bottom of the pie tin was helpful. Then, carefully cut the shape out.

Once the shape is cut out, lay it on the piece of cardboard. Use a pushpin to add details and patterns. The tiny holes will let light shine through and make these ornaments really twinkle!
