Step-by-step tutorial

  • Step 1

Start by gathering your materials. The dry beans & glass beads represent the rocks for the dinosaur dig.

  • Step 2

Next, gather your tools, V was a big help with this part. Anything goes for this part, we used things we had around the house. The tools we used were popsicle sticks (digger & excavator), a rake (digger & excavator), a plastic soap holder (sorter), an egg carton (sorter), a sink drainer (sifter), a measuring cup (sorter & measurer), a cardboard plant pot (sorter), and a plastic container (specimen jar)

  • Step 3

Next, we dumped all the materials into the bin. This, by far, was V's favorite part. And then add your selected tools for your dig site.

That concludes your archeological dig site - let the dinosaur excavating begin!
