As early as 10 months old, your baby was capable of deductive problem-solving. Now, as a toddler, they’re absorbed in scientific discovery, a.k.a., How does this work? Head-scratching challenges like puzzles, shape sorters, and stacking cups are sure to delight your young figure-outer.
color recognition
Identifying colors is a tricky skill to master, often trickier than telling apart shapes and sizes. Try playing a color-based game (like matching similar-colored socks!) to help your child begin to recognize and learn the names of different colors. Although, maybe save chartreuse and cerulean for another year.
fine motor
