Step 1
I used a basic homemade dough recipe and to make it festive for the Chinese New Year I colored it red and orange and added lots of glitter. You can use any play dough you have.
Step 2
My daughter loved rolling the snakes out. Play dough is such a simple activity, but it is always so exciting to my children.
Step 3
Once they had their snake rolls they really enjoyed personalizing each one with eyes and beads.
Final result!
The snakes came out so beautiful. This was a great way to add a new twist to our everyday play dough fun and also a way to teach my children about a different culture and celebration. Love that!
