So easy to assemble and so versatile. Loved all the suggestions given for the puppets and game cards.

My daughter is 3 and she really likes all the results of the project, but from a parent’s standpoint, I wish it was easier for her to do herself. Even the activities that said the parent involvement was low really wasn’t.

It's cute! I found my 3 yr old needed help with the stickers, some stickers were really small for her to handle.
The binoculars is a hit!
We assembled the binoculars, puppets and puzzle within 10 mins. Kit is kinda of over and done with now.
I would of preferred that the binoculars be wood material than the puzzle. It's such a hit that it may break with it being paper.
Maybe, a compass kit would of been better than the puzzle.

This was a fun crate for my 4yr old. Loved the puppets :)

Cute binoculars

Better than I expected. Binoculars work and puppets are super cute. Cards are ok.

So fun

My son does weekly speech therapy, and doing it via zoom can sometimes be a challenge. Keeping a 3 year old focused on a computer for an hour, or even keeping them in one place can be a challenge. But on a whim one week we pulled out a kiwi box and they're just so wonderful. They keep in engaged and busy while we work on his sounds, and he ends the session with cool toys. This one in particular was wonderful and I really loved the way the puppets had the different textures so we could talk about what animals feel like. He loves those puppets. All the projects were age appropriate for him, and the instructions visual enough that he needed minimal guidance. Great work!

Wonderfully engaging

Fun!

Enjoyed the imaginative play my son got out of it

Safari crate

The crafts were challenging enough for my 3 year old granddaughter and she felt proud that she could do it all by herself!

Up for the challenge

Embark on a wild safari expedition with 3 engaging activities and a bonus magazine.

Window Garden

Our daughter (about to turn 3) loves the garden so far. It is a really cool way to introduce little ones to plant science. Very easy to set up, and the bean started growing a noticeable beanstalk within a week. (The squash is not growing, but I believe that is due to overwatering by our toddler.) Would love to see more garden kits with other types of plants, too!

The girls 4, 5, and 6 loved it and soaked their interest into a real garden.

wonderful experience - and super easy to keep the plants alive!

Easy to assemble and they stay in place on the window really well! My granddaughter was so delighted when the squash plant popped out of the soil; definitely a great experience for the whole family to share.

My kiddos LOVE having this on their bedroom window! They enjoy watching them grow. It makes them so proud! Thanks KiwiCo!

This kit is a joy. Even though my 21-month-old can’t do everything required, having her be able to watch germination/seedling development in action is deeply rewarding. A very user-friendly kit.

I can't believe how quickly it's growing. So fun for the kids.
Also - I had a minor issue and had one of the best customer service experience as ever. Thank you.

The ONLY thing I would want different is for the clear planting containers to be a bit more stout.

My son loved planting his beans and enjoys watching them grow. We're getting ready to plant them somewhere bigger!

My daughter absolutely loves this. It's the first thing she does in the morning. She can't wait to water them and fill in the water droplet in the observation journal! Best purchase yet!

This kit was fantastic! She was learning about plants in school so this was perfect. Easy to setup and they sprouted very quickly.

My 4.5 year old who loves to garden absolutely LOVES this set. It grew very quickly in our window. Very impressive. She has enjoyed looking at the roots and watching how much they grow daily.

We loved it, it was a great learning experience.

My children are in love with giving their sprouts “a drink” and looking for changes each day! They have planned to plant the first set of spouts and then plant more seeds until they have no more left. They love having their own garden, just like Grandpa!

Learn about plant science in a hands-on way, by assembling your own suction-cup window planters and growing a set of green bean and squash plants. Learn to take care of your plants, identify new plant parts as they sprout, and make yummy dishes using fruit and other plant parts!

Starry Night

Game was easy to assemble and play. Assembling the moon was just enough hands on to keep my grandson engaged and has held up well with lots of handling

Mine was a solar system not like the picture. My Granddaughter love it however we were missing 2 o rings also couldn't keep the sun from falling off top Other wise a wonderful set

I sent all of them as gifts. Lots of shared pictures. It’s wonderful to know I can send Kiwi to Canada ??

Finished product is very nice. Instructions pretty clear but the 2 halves of the sphere were difficult to keep together while spreading clay around. We made mistake of using paint sponge to make craters instead of using the ball, but it worked out fine anyway

Loved making the moon and my daughter really enjoyed the galaxy. Would advise not to put all the blue dye in the galaxy because it comes out too dark. We made the constellations with pretzels and marshmallows and my daughter enjoyed that too.

HUGE hit with my almost 6 year old. She probably even liked the game the most which was surprising to me but hey it was a win

Our favorite box so far. Lots of fun activities.

We enjoyed making the craters on our glow moon. The galaxy bottle turned out great. The meteor game was fun for both of us. All of it was easy enough for my 4 year old to put together with just a little help.

My little one's obsessed with space and he loved everything in this box especially making the moon. This box also will make a great gift for little explorers.

My little boy loved it

Little Artist

I really didn't like this kit. It really didn't have much to offer. The rainbow kit was so much more fun and interactive. This kit in my opinion was not worth the money. Would not recommend this kit.

This was so much fun to do with my son. The smock we continue to use for projects to this day.

My boys absolutely loved making their own creation. They really enjoyed painting. This is a great crate, probably their favorite one so far.

I got this box as part of our subscription years ago, and I mean years ago. My daughter loved the sculpture project and did such a great job, I still have it sitting on my desk. She's about to turn 7. I was window shopping when I came across this and just had to give my two cents. I highly recommend this box.

My little guy loved all the projects in this box! We are pretty new to KiwiCo. My little guy has enjoyed everything he's received so far but this one was his favorite. 3 art projects in one box that we could spread out over the week was pretty grand for me too.

Kyla liked the painting. We liked the more interesting techniques, and made good use of the tools. This one encouraged her personal creativity.

Fun with paint

It was great! He loved the different activities

Great

I loved the art projects. Great variety and love that we can use the apron for other boxes in the future

Great variety

The activities were fun and the projects turned out lovely.

Great project

Fun and engaging . Loved the paint in the box and shake it up activity.

Super engaging

Wind

Like the product, but received it with no sleeve.
Also it would be nice to have the box big enough to store it if it's a game for future use.

My 3.5 year old loved this kit! She tracked the weather for weeks after it arrived. Definitely one of our favorites!

3 yr old granddaughter had a great time putting her ship together and trying the 2 sails. We must have spent an hour fanning to make wind so her ship would sail across the floor. As she is 3, she has a short attention span. So we have fun projects for another day. Love all the kits we have gotten so far!

I love being able to experiment and work on these projects with my son. He really likes to take them to the next level and make new projects and games out of them.

Creative and lasts a long time

Anything that can teach a 2 year old some physics is pretty nifty, plus weather and engineering all in one box. Our kiddo loved it but the excitement was quickly met with frustration and some Daddy fabrication (more on that below). This crate really had it all: arts, creativity, physics, cause and effect, and finally some engineering.

The problem lies with the wheel and axle system that is the lynch pin of the whole apparatus. It starts fine but within a day of play the imperfections of the system fail. The wheels aren't held in by much and as they are not quite perfectly round, nor is the whole perfectly centered and ultimately the wheels begin to cant and it takes a blower to move this thing. The idea was solid, the multiple sails were nifty so a little balsa wood, metal axle and same wooden wheels, with a thin layer of adhesive rubber made this thing fun for a good deal longer. I went ahead and provided some additional materials for additional sails so that drag and efficiency could also be realized.

SOLID idea, GREAT way to learn/teach but end produ

My son loved the wind car and was so excited every morning to check the weather and chart it. We also did some of the recommended DIYs. So fun!

Projects and DIYs

Seeing her expression when she opens her new Koala Crate is priceless. She always gets so excited when it comes in the mail. The Wind Crate was super fun!

Favorite Delivery

A cute crate theme. We loved making the windsock with all of the cool colors. Now we go and look at it on our porch every night!

New routine

KiwiCo is so awesome and we love this crate! The Wind Car was cool to put together and being able to do wind races with the family was one of the highlights of our week. Thanks Koala Crate!!

Highlight of the week

Getting my daughter involved in the weather chart has been awesome! Seeing her analyze the weather and choose the right stickers is great. I love seeing her little mind think. We love the Koala Crate.

Thanks Koala Crate!

Koala Camp (5-Pack)

No complaints. Everything is perfect and so well thought out.
We are so happy!

Excellent quality as always. Kept our little one busy. Creative ways to practice fine motor skills, problem solve and creativity. The little companion workbooks are great as well.

I haven’t used this yet but my grandkids are coming for 2 months. I know they will love them! The activities are always fun, interesting and educational.

These kits are so well done! They have truly thought of everything. There are easy to follow instructions that tell you how to do each project as well as the messiness level of it. It explains how the project will help your child's development (e.g. fine motor skills) and gives extension activities you can do at home by using the QR code. There's also a magazine with cute characters that my daughter looks forward to reading. They are age appropriate (she is 4) and right at her level of learning/skill. She knows the "yellow boxes" with the "koala" are hers and looks forward to seeing them. I'm so grateful to have these "ready to go" kits available for rainy days or moments when I need an easy way to have a quality interaction with my child. It's also been a huge help during the pandemic when we are at home so much and I've run out of ideas!
