Bottle Rocket

Great fun.  Took a little while to get the knack of the launch but would definitely buy again :)

It was really straightforward to put together and worked really well.  Was  very fun 

My son and husband and I all absolutely loved this one!  We took it out to launch several times!  

Very easy and fun project. My son loves it! It shoots pretty high. Good time. 

Please send more baking soda and citric acid next time. And balloons that are more elastic!

I have to say this one was the best even for me! Lol my son LOVED this rocket! He found it so fun and even while putting it together he was super excited to watch it launch! Love that everything was provided. 

My kids (ages 8 and 10) loved the rocket!! Multiple uses - highly recommend.

My kiddos (8 and 10) did this crate as part of summer camp. The rocket assembly directions were easy to follow. The construction is surprisingly sturdy. We did struggle a bit to keep the foam cone attached, but it flew fine without it.  It took a few tries to get it to launch successfully, but that encouraged experimentation. There were plenty of extra ingredients to launch several times. My hubby and I kept playing long after the kids lost interest, and we used it again several days later. 

Since my granddaughter is only 7, this one was harder for her to read and understand by herself. Her mom helped her to understand the directions and she was able to do it with minor assistance. They sent me a video , but I don't know how to send it. The rocket on the second or third time went as high as the peak of their townhouse roof. They are in a two story.


We had so much fun with this! Completed with girls—ages 7 and 10. Both loved it so much! Lots of squealing and laughing and they launched it over and over. The foam point wouldn’t stay on after it got wet, so that was the only downside. Otherwise, it was perfect!

My 5 year old grandson and I did this together and he absolutely loved it(so did Mimi). It didn't spin like it said it would and he was sure to point that out, but we still had a great time building it and watching it soar.

My son and I loved Putting it together and enjoyed every minute of it. It's the best product and my son will have these memories to last a lifetime.

This was a fun build! It wasn’t too hard to build and it worked just great!

My 8yo enjoyed building this project so much. It’s fun for her to see how all the pieces work together and the end result of building something with her own hands vs she typical just buy pre-made is very satisfying for her. I got 3x of this as gifts for her friends!

Such a  fun project both during the build and after.  We loved observing how the bubbles “changed” when moving the blower into different slots.  Great project for big kids and littles.

This works way better than I expected, my daughter is 5 and loves it.  She needed help putting it together, but not too much. 

So captivating once we put it together and it worked. The foam pieces didn’t seal all the way, and the blue paper was sitting on the spinning motor in a way that made it slower. We had to take it all apart, put everything in suuuuuper perfect (not great for kids, there should be room for error). Then I used a hot glue gun so the foam circle would sit further up and not impede the spinning thing. I do wish the materials worked on their own to begin with, this is pretty much impossible without adult help

Levitating Lantern

This was one of my kids favorites. We still use it in there room. 

This project was so fun! Not too easy, not too hard, and now it has a place on our mantle. Lovely. 

The "levitation" element really blew our minds.  My nine year old and I giggled as we built this and watched the magic come alive. 

Pretty interesting but a little wobby, hard to make the ballance.

I bought this for both my 10 year old and 16 year old.  They both enjoyed putting their project together.  My 10 year old was able to do it by herself and my 16 year old found it satisfying to occupy a little bit of time.  

Got this and really like it. Had my doubts. Works well as a bedside night light for the little ones.  That was its intended use.  No the lil ones didn’t build it. But, if they did I would of been a two person job.  Not difficulty wise, but how it all gets assembled.

This project was a great first introduction to electronics for my little one, and an amazing example of physics & engineering. Even adults can be wowed by this assembled kit. Based on experience with our kiwi projects, this one required the least adult intervention & assistance. The only flaw which really affected our end build was the spacer rings all fit inside the wooden windows *with the exception of the one by the switch* due to the proximity of the switch base to the corner, so we had to put both spacers on the bottom for all four in order to achieve the best tension for stability. Otherwise this project was one of our fastest, most child independent builds and had a huge wow factor in the end. 

I loved the levitating lamp ,my son ryker loves it to.we enjoy every project we get every month. 

I really love the look of this lantern one! But the ring for the strings get in the way of the side panels. Especially on 1 corner for it is too close to the switch button. We had to use a car keep to shove the ring inside so that the panels would lock in to the the top lid on... Other wise it is a very fun crate that both kids are very proud of! 

It was pretty amazing to watch my 19 year old daughter take charge in this project. The instructions are easy for older kids but requires a bit more attention to detail for those younger and more inclined to just “wing it”. This is a good thing.I make her lay everything out ahead of time which is always a good habit for them to learn. 

We’re about to tackle her fourth kit and she just can’t wait.

Drip Irrigation

My 7 YO had a blast building and learning about drip irrigation. The drip controls are a bit difficult to set up just right, but overall it's great!

I gave this project a 10/10 because I like seeing the plants grow every single day.

My grandson, age 8, really enjoyed this kit! His family has a small garden and I thought this would be a great teaching project. I’m hoping to order another one for my great nephew. 

Loved introducing my 6 & 9 yr old to this! They completely helped in building and planting the seeds. It’s been so fun watching the seeds grow - we recently transplanted them outside!

My daughter throughly enjoyed putting it together. She was able to do it on her own. She liked watching the plants grow. The biodegradable containers were a good idea, but they do mold. There was a small piece to hold up the hose that was missing. There were supposed to be 3 and there were 2. It did work fine with 2 so we left it like that. 

He had so much fun, he particularly loved watching the soil 'grow'.  It all looks wonderful, and I've helped him carefully place the entire contraption under one of our grow lights.  Hopefully the seeds pop!  If they do, this will have been the best of all the crates we've ever had.

Straight forward and great experience with kids! Can’t wait to see our plants grow!!!!

I enjoyed my grandson’s enthusiasm for the easy to follow directions for the end result.  His focus and independence is wonderful to watch.  His self esteem gleams.

The four crates that arrived were interesting and my child loved playing with them.

Loved these boxes for the grandkids when they came to visit they kept them thinking and it wasn't just another toy or piece of plastic that we have to store for there next trip. Wish these were ready sooner. I'm still waiting on the final box. Please start your planning earlier next year so that they are ready by the end of May.

I wish you’d spread out the deliveries. My daughter did 3 in 1 day when they arrived. And then the other 2 in the next delivery day.   But she loves them. 

I thought the camp didn’t have the crates that they already got if they are signed up for the monthly crate but one was a repeat and I hope the next few months aren’t the same as the camp. 

So far Dylan has done the bottle rocket and lantern and loved them both!!

I like what was shipped, obviously we're waiting for camp to start before we dive in! However, I couldn't give five starts because only 4 crates had shipped. Excited to hopefully receive the final one soon.
