- Dinosaur Soap
(Ages 9-16)
This engaging soap project is all-natural, encourages hand washing, and inspires your kid to learn about the chemistry of soap’s super cleaning powers. In this craft, they’ll make their very own moisturizing glycerin soap with just one ingredient, a silicon mold, a microwave, and some tiny plastic dinos for decoration. You might even want to make extra to nicely package for a great handmade gift or a memorable party favor to hand out at their next birthday party!
- Be a Play Dough Detective
(Ages 0-11)
There’s a mystery afoot! This activity is a captivating puzzle game that lets your kid become a play dough detective. They’ll have to figure out which dinosaur left which footprints behind. Once you’ve used all the dinosaurs, you can start over again by using other little plastic creature feet to switch things up.
- Salt Dough Dinosaur Fossils
(Ages 3-8)
We wouldn’t know much about dinosaurs if we didn’t have fossils, so we absolutely had to include some fossil activities on our list! This craft brings the science of mold fossils into your child’s very own hands in just under two hours.
- Cornmeal Sensory Play
(Ages 3-8)
Sensory play is an awesome way to encourage your kiddo’s natural inclination to engage with their senses as they explore, create, and investigate. It’s not only a fun way to play, but also a great opportunity to develop language skills, grow fine motor skills, and start to learn how to regulate their emotions. This activity is a great indoor sandbox where they can dig and pretend play with some little dinosaurs.
- Dinosaur Dig Sensory Bin
(Ages 3-8)
Here’s another sensory play activity to try out! This one uses dried beans and beads to represent the rocks and sand. They’ll just love sifting, sorting, raking, digging, and excavating!
- Dinosaur Pencil Toppers
(Ages 5-15)
You only need three materials to make this easy craft: some Rainbow Air-Dry Clay, our Clay Tools Set, and a couple pencils. Try making a Triceratops, a Stegosaurus, or both!
- Ice Excavation
(Ages 3-11)
Bring your little explorer on a trip to the Arctic’s glaciers to excavate some dinosaur bones frozen in the ice!

(Ages 3-8)
