Peek Inside Camp KiwiCo!

As we know, summer is shaping up to be quite a bit different than we all imagined. When the team at KiwiCo realized that many of the summer plans we had made to fill our kids’ days were cancelled, the team rallied to put together an in-depth at-home summer camp–filled with awesome activities and projects to spark innovation, creativity, and joy. 

Welcome to Camp KiwiCo! We invite you and your kids to join us for a fun-filled enriching summer time experience filled with discovery and delight! Camp KiwiCo offers four different sessions – Koala Camp, Kiwi Camp, Atlas Camp, and Tinker Camp – geared for a different age group. Each session is made up of five days that are jam-packed with free content. Each day of camp comes with a science theme that is explored through videos, printables, experiments, hands-on projects, and creative challenges. Camp KiwiCo is designed so that you can choose your own adventure and timeline. You can follow the schedule we created and do all five days back-to-back or you can spread the fun throughout the summer!

All the content for Camp KiwiCo (DIY activities, videos, printables) is FREE and available to anyone all summer. If you’d like to add more to your camper’s day, you can order the specific KiwiCo crates we’ve handpicked from our store to go with each day’s theme.

Koala Camp (ages 3 to 4)

Play and learn preschool adventures: Kids will enjoy a week of seriously fun and scientific backyard adventures — from rainbows and music to chemistry and camping! Learn about the science of colors; Read about orchestra instruments; Make an ice cube paint set; Explore nature in your neighborhood; Play connect-the-stars! Have a campout with the whole family!

Kiwi Camp (ages 5 to 8)

Explore science, art, and more: Kids will delve into a week of discovery and delight! Spend a day exploring awesome arcades, fun with flight, deep-sea adventures & more! Learn how rockets fly; Read about creatures of the deep sea; Make a craft-stick catapult; Snack on hot-air balloon pancakes; Explore the origins of the Olympics; Build an at-home arcade!

Atlas Camp

Discover the world: Explore the world from your living room! Get an introduction to the seven continents and learn all about four fascinating countries with immersive hands-on experiences. Learn about the seven continents; Make a travel journal; Do yoga; Explore the amazing Amazon Rainforest; Tour Thailand’s floating markets; Cook Australian Anzac Biscuits with KiwiCo kids!

Tinker Camp (ages 9+)

Engineer cool machines: Spark moments of inspiration and fun all week long exploring robotics, hydraulics, illusions, mechanical toys and astronomy! Learn about the anatomy of a robot or the distance of stars; Read about water-powered animatronics; Make a flipbook film or solar oven s’mores; Explore toy design at MIT; Create a stop motion movie!

How to Join the Fun at Camp KiwiCo

We recommend that kids start each day with the science video from one of our camp counselors (aka, product designers). The goal of this video is to make the day’s science topic more approachable and relatable. Then, campers can dive deeper into the theme with hands-on activities and challenges in the form of printables and videos.

For even more screen-free fun, your child can learn by doing with KiwiCo crates we’ve hand-picked to pair with each day’s theme! We recommend you order crates from our store 7-10 days before you plan to start camp to guarantee you receive it in time.
